Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with experience in chemical manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, and a solid understanding of safety, compliance, and equipment reliability.
You are a proactive problem-solver who can lead maintenance teams, execute preventive maintenance plans, and respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
A safety-first mindset and experience working in regulated, high-risk environments will be key to success in this role.
What will you be doing?
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring their implementation.
- Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Checking electrical and hydraulic systems in buildings to ensure functionality.
- Planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities.
- Allocating workload and supervising upkeep staff
- Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary.
- Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
Who are You?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology
- Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in another managerial position.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
What competencies will you need?
- Solid understanding of technical aspects related to water, electricity, and gas systems.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
