Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Sales Account Manager to lead and grow our key semiconductor accounts in Taiwan, with a strong focus on TSMC, ASE, SPIL, Micron and Tier-1 customers.
This role is responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving complex technical and commercial projects from early-stage engagement through qualification and mass production.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working with TSMC, ASE, SPIL, Micron, or other Tier-1 semiconductor customers, with the ability to build trusted relationships with mid- to senior-level customer stakeholders and influence decisions across technical, operational, procurement, and management levels.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that requires strong business judgment, technical understanding, and the ability to rapidly mobilize internal and external resources to accelerate critical customer projects and deliver results under tight timelines.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key semiconductor customers, including TSMC, ASE, SPIL, Micron, and other Tier-1 accounts.
- Own the full customer engagement process from opportunity identification through qualification, production ramp, and mass production.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, R&D, procurement, operations, and management functions.
- Identify customer needs, technology trends, and market opportunities to drive new applications, projects, and revenue growth.
- Lead customer projects by setting priorities, coordinating cross-functional resources, and driving execution to meet aggressive timelines.
- Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, including Sales, R&D, Product Management, Technical Service, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and global organizations.
- Lead customer meetings, business reviews, technical discussions, and executive engagements while ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and manage account plans, opportunity pipelines, revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to deliver customer-specific solutions and support the successful commercialization of new semiconductor material technologies.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitive developments and proactively adjust strategies to protect and expand business.
- Take ownership of critical customer issues, drive timely resolution, and ensure successful business outcomes with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Who are You?
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging, electronic materials, semiconductor equipment, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing Tier-1 semiconductor customers such as TSMC, ASE, SPIL, Micron, or equivalent accounts.
- Demonstrated success supporting customer projects from opportunity development through qualification, production ramp, and mass production.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, WLP, or related technologies.
- Established relationships with technical, operational, procurement, and management stakeholders within major semiconductor companies preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results under demanding timelines.
- Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and convert technical engagements into business growth.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively, mobilize resources, remove obstacles, and accelerate project execution when required.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to connect technical requirements to commercial opportunities.
- Experience working within global, matrixed organizations and collaborating across regional and international teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Taiwan and occasionally overseas.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, resilient, self-motivated, and highly accountable with a strong results-oriented mindset.
