Business Overview

MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity. We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. Photopolymers are molecules that change properties upon exposure to light.

Job Purpose

The Sales Manager will drive profitable revenue growth for ESI and our businesses in the target market area of Industrial Solutions. Assigned to a specific territory, the Sales Manager is directly responsible for achieving year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets as well as assigned account objectives in the territory. The Sales Manager maintains and expands relationships, revenues, and margins with all customers and prospects within the assigned territory for our business. The successful candidate will manage many large accounts that require selling and maintaining skills at the Production, laboratory level as well as at the VP and Owner levels.  This is a direct customer interfacing role.

Job Responsibilities

To develop sales plans and coordinate marketing strategies for customer management, within the context of the overall corporate plan and, where appropriate, recommend standards and set sales targets. Establishes and maintains sales relationships with customers, with the objective to grow business and achieve sales goals

  1. Owner of Sales budget, Target setting, Gross Margins and EBITDA meeting all expectations, ensure expenses meet budget and are managed in the cost efficient way.
  1. Responsible for developing Cluster & Market strategies, tactical executional go to market plans, pricing strategies market data and competitive intelligence data.
  1. Ensures that the Sales process and CRM tool usage are respected and followed during entire sales process.
  1. Responsible for conducting business according to contracts, in a business ethical way and to the Graphics business culture.
  1. Drives Customer Management, Customer relationship and Common agenda activities for all customers and distributors in Japan.
  1. Supports Operations, Customer Service and Technical service to ensure accurate forecast, customers statistics, inventory information, payment on time and to resolve technical issues, claim and complaints in the most cost efficient way.

Job Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years relevant working experience in flexo printing industry is preferred 
  • Able to communicate in fluent English speaking and writing
  • Position to commence work in January 2023


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
