Technical Document Manager (m/f/d)
Who are we looking for?
The Technical Documents Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of MEIS´s customer facing process documentation to ensure completeness and constant quality. The Manager will organize documents and related master data in a database and makes them available to the organization with appropriate safeguards for proprietary information.
The Manager will also participate in specific projects that increase the relevance, security, and efficiency of information delivery to the organization as time allows.
They will have direct supervisory responsibility for a team of initially 2 individuals.
What will you be doing?
• Ownership and management of customer facing technical process documentation and process master data
• Maintain the structure, workflow, and governance for changes to the existing global documents and data as well as integration of new documents
• Coordination of the process of content creation and updates with the product group R&D experts
• Work with IT to build, maintain and constantly improve the database solutions used for process documentation and process master data
• Oversee cleaning and harmonization of existing process documentation and process master data and the integration of such data from new acquisitions or new fields of business
• Work with Marketing and Legal to ensure legal and corporate identity compliance of the templates used for technical documents
• Work with regional teams to make global documents accessible and properly designed for translations and local adaptions
• Be available for internal customers, i.e. Product Management and Sales, for questions and improvement proposals regarding technical process documentation
Who are You?
• Multiple years’ experience with technical document and data management
• Some technical background in working with our processes, preferrably in a Tech Service or analytical lab environment
• Fluent in English
• Ability to communicate and moderate conflicts of interest
• Advanced Skills in MS Office applications, especially Sharepoint
• Preferably experience in database design and maintenance as business contact
