Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a QHSE Manager (m/f/d) at Coventya in Guetersloh.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure HSE standards are maintained
• Assumption of the duties of the management system representatives
• Conducting internal and external audits and inspections (e.g., quality, occupational and environmental protection audits)
• Implementation of QHSE objectives and planning and tracking of tasks and projects
• Responsible for handling customer enquiries, internal and external complaints and defining and following up on corrective and preventive actions, using common methods such as 5Why, 8D, etc.
• Support for continuous improvement processes
• Maintenance of quality and safety-relevant databases or IT applications
• Evaluation and reclassification of non-compliant products
• Supporting other departments in improving non-compliant documentation and processes of QHSE-relevant tasks
• Participation in internal meetings such as production meetings, ASA, planning meetings
• Conducting and evaluating of 5S housekeeping rounds, safety observations, etc.
• Coordination and cooperation with the authorities (if necessary, representation of the incident officer in the case of reports to the authorities)
• Planning and implementation of IMS and QHSE trainings
• Responsible for maintenance and procurement of DIN standards
• Advising the site management on QHSE issues as well as the responsible managers and employees in the areas of quality assurance, health protection, occupational safety and environmental protection
• Maintenance and review of maintenance activities in the maintenance planner (Wartungsplaner)
• Support customer audits and resulting action plans
• Planning and implementation of the QM system

Who are You?

• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge of MS-Office (EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint) and database applications
• Flexible in approach to work and able to adapt to quickly changing priorities
• Professional experience in quality management, ideally in the chemical industry
• Experience in environmental protection and occupational safety
• Team player

What competencies will you need?

• Chemical technician/chemical engineer (or comparable)
• Further training as a quality management specialist QMF
• Further training as a quality management auditor QMA
• Further training to become a Quality Management Representative QMB
