SEMICONDUCTOR SOLUTIONS

As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes and photomask technologies to our customers for integrated circuit fabrication and semiconductor packaging.

Compugraphics have had their Manufacturing Facility in Glenrothes since 1967 and work 24 hours, 7 days per week.  The Production Technician is certainly joining a well-established organisation where we will be able to provide the suitable candidates with a full training programme and support to develop valuable skills and establish themselves as a valued member of the Production Team.  They will be asked to participate in continuous improvement exercises that will improve their work areas and give them a sense of ownership.

Job Purpose

Our Production Technicians work within our Cleanroom Facility to ensure and maintain a smooth interface with the Data Processing function as the production input.  Co-operative Team working with the other operational functions, notably Production Support, as well as the Quality Department and other Production Areas.

Job Responsibilities

Production responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reading internal databases to determine customer specifications and requirements
• Exposing photomasks by inputting data correctly into exposure tools
• Process photomasks using dedicated tools
• Measure critical dimensions of features to the customer specific instructions and specification
• Accurately control our process by reading, understanding and following our SPC system
• Checking the quality of product using automatic inspection tools
• Dispatching of product to customer specific instructions
• Maintaining Cleanroom cleanliness and adhering to all Cleanroom protocol

The Production Technician will also be asked to participate in continuous improvement exercises that will improve their work areas and give them a sense of ownership.

Qualifications

• Basic requirements, minimum 5 standard grades of 3 or above in at least English and Maths
• National 5s in the above
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and to multitask when required, good time management is essential
• You must be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail
• Good computer skills are required
