MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries.  We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycle and reuse solutions. Our industrial customer base is highly diverse and includes customers in the following end markets: appliances and electronics equipment; automotive parts; industrial parts; plumbing goods; construction equipment and transportation equipment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a seasoned VP/GM to lead and oversee all business operations across the North America region. This role involves strategic planning, commercial leadership, operational execution, and team management to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The VP/GM acts as the key liaison between their business, central functions, and corporate leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

What will you be doing?

P&L Ownership:

  • Take full accountability for the region’s P&L, consistently delivering revenue targets, profitability, cost-efficiency, working capital, and capital investment goals.

 

 Drive Regional Strategy & Growth:

  • Define and execute product portfolio, GTM, and channel management strategies for the North America region, aligned with global business objectives.
  • Build and nurture high-impact relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Champion a customer-centric culture that drives loyalty, retention, and long-term value creation.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and innovation pathways to accelerate sustainable growth.
  • Continuously assess the competitive landscape to strengthen market positioning and value proposition.

 

Operational Excellence & Customer Satisfaction:

  • Drive world-class customer satisfaction and operational efficiency with direct management of regional sales, manufacturing, applications development, laboratory, and customer service operations.
  • Proactively manage business risks, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance standards across all regional activities.

 

People Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Inspire, develop, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the region.
  • Own the North America monthly operating cadence.  Represent the North America business at the elevated corporate operating reviews.
  • Function as the bridge between regional teams and global functions (e.g., Product, Finance, HR, Supply Chain), ensuring alignment and execution of corporate initiatives.

Who are You?

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in B2B business management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Prior experience leading sales, customer service, manufacturing operations, and technical teams. 
    • Proven record of driving growth and profitability in a regional or multi-site setting.
    • Strong understanding of North America regional market dynamics and regulatory environments.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to travel frequently within the region and globally on a quarterly basis.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $256,442 and $384,664 per year.
