MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. Who are we looking for?

This position is responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture chemical batches and for handling hazardous waste according to written procedures and maintaining required log sheets.

What will you be doing?

Operate equipment, including tanks, pumps, mixers, pH meters, level meters, flow meters, valves, and hoses to manufacture batches of chemical products.
Measures quantities of liquid and solid chemicals using scales and flow meters, and transfer the chemicals into tanks.
Locate materials in the warehouse and transport to manufacturing using a forklift.
Collect process samples and interface with laboratory personnel for analysis.
Maintain required log sheets including but limited to batch tickets, packaging sheets, scrubber operation log, pH meter calibration, and equipment inspections.
Package, mark, and label hazardous waste containers.
Adheres to all corporate, plant and safety policies/procedures.
Operate a forklift as applicable.
Perform inventory cycle counts
Other duties as assigned.

Who are You?

High school diploma
2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical environment
Ability to drive a hilo

The typical base salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $26.07.
