Who are we looking for?

The QC Chemist Intern role is a paid internship that supports the MacDermid Enthone Team.  The QC Chemist Intern will work closely with the QC staff to Prepare solutions used for testing in the Lab (i.e. buffers, plating solutions, ect.).  This position will be part-time and work approximately 20 hours per week.  

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare solutions used for testing in the Lab (i.e. buffers, plating solutions, ect.)
  • Exposure and practice with the following instrumentation: AA, ICP, Autotitrators, HPLC, Particle sizer, UV Vis spectrometer
  • Refine wet chemistry techniques (pipetting, titrations, ect.)
  • Preform test plating (electroless and electrolytic)
  • Help upkeep cleanliness of the lab
  • Special projects

Who are You?

A student pursuing a degree in Chemistry.  

What competencies will you need?

A chemistry student interested in learning and gaining hands on experience in how to prepare solutions used for testing in the Lab (i.e. buffers, plating solutions, ect.), getting exposure and practice with instrumentation: (AA, ICP, Autotitrators, HPLC, Particle sizer, UV Vis spectrometer), and performing wet chemistry testing.
