Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Business Partner to act as a strategic interface between our business units and regulatory functions across a global chemical portfolio. This role is designed for someone who can translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business guidance, enabling safe, compliant, and sustainable growth across markets, coordinate for global guidelines for products and packaging.

You will bring deep regulatory knowledge, strong commercial awareness, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders, helping the organisation anticipate regulatory change and integrate it into business decision‑making.

What will you be doing?

In this role you will need to perform the following tasks:

  • Act as the primary regulatory partner for assigned business units, regions, or product portfolios
  • Provide strategic regulatory input into product development, market entry, lifecycle management, and commercial decision‑making
  • Coordinate for Product packaging guidelines for MAES (Electronic Solutions) & MEIS (Industrial Solutions)
  • Manage other requirements for Business units like DG, F-gas, Detergents etc. declarations
  • Coordinate efforts from both BU and Regulatory team to perform Regulatory assessment and impact analysis on products
  • Maintains stewardship of BU’s compliance status and needs
  • Regulatory Intelligence and Surveillance
    • Monitor and stay up to date on upcoming regulatory updates and risks
    • Help develop and implement compliance strategies
    • Drives compliance actions and follow ups
  • Drives BU-specific regulatory registrations projects and reporting activities
  • Drives BU-specific regulatory projects and issues

Who are You?

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in the Chemical industry, 2-3 years of experience in working with global chemical regulatory compliance, 

  • Degree in Chemistry preferred
  • global packaging guidelines and regulations
  • F-gas and Detergent regulations

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role you need:

 

Knowledge of chemical regulations

This role requires a good knowledge of global packaging guidelines and regulations; F-gas and Detergent regulations and other chemical regulations. Transport regulation, PFAS regulation, Poison Centre Notification (PCN), Drug precursors, Dual use, Chemical weapons, EU REACH, Turkey REACH, K-REACH etc. Perform and regularly communicate regulatory impact assessment on business portfolio.

Project management

Planning and strategizing initiatives to maximize corporate resources and achieve timely compliance. Effective communication of deliverables to senior management routinely. Ability to multitask, prioritize and to meet strict deadlines.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

This role requires some level of autonomy and initiative when it comes to decision-making and problem solving. Attention to detail and in-depth analysis of each problem/situation prior to making a decision is key; the end result would be a recommendation for action or an informed decision, with sound rationale, taken in light of the problem on hand. Develops action plans and the ability to coordinate the team through the plan to successfully address a problem.
