Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Information Security Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity posture and protect critical business systems and data. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge of security tools and frameworks, a strong understanding of risk management, and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
You will play a key role in implementing security measures, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
What will you be doing?
As an Information Security Engineer, you will:
- Implement and maintain security controls: Deploy and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies.
- Monitor and respond to threats: Analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments: Perform regular scans, penetration tests, and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate weaknesses.
- Manage identity and access: Ensure secure authentication, authorization, and privilege management across systems.
- Support compliance initiatives: Maintain adherence to global security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and assist with audits.
- Collaborate on projects: Work with IT, application teams, and business units to embed security into system designs and processes.
- Develop documentation and policies: Create clear security guidelines, incident response plans, and technical documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement: Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, recommending enhancements to security architecture.

What competencies will you need?
- Technical Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Security Frameworks & Standards: Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, SOC).
- Incident Response & Forensics: Experience handling security incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
- Identity & Access Management: Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth), MFA, and privilege management.
- Cloud & Application Security: Knowledge of securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and web applications.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Risk Assessment & Reporting: Ability to evaluate risks and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Education & Experience: Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred. Prior experience in an enterprise security role is essential.
