MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars, or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment, and recycle and reuse solutions. Our industrial customer base is highly diverse and includes customers in the following end markets: appliances and electronics; automotive parts; industrial parts; plumbing goods; construction equipment; and transportation equipment.

Who are we looking for?

 

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead our manufacturing quality function and ensure our products consistently meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Control team, Quality systems, driving compliance, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

What will you be doing?

 

As Quality Manager, you will:

  • Lead the quality function: Manage the Quality Control team and assurance activities across the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Maintain and improve quality systems: Oversee the Quality Management System to ISO 9001, internal audits, and document control processes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Monitor adherence to industry regulations (e.g., REACH, ISO, GMP) and support external audits and inspections.
  • Drive root cause analysis and CAPAs: Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor performance: Track and report on quality KPIs, trends, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support customer satisfaction: Address customer complaints, ensure timely resolution, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Promote continuous improvement: Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance product and process quality.

What competencies will you need?

 

  • Quality Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and methodologies.
  • Auditing: Experience as an ISO 9001 Lead or Internal Auditor
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with chemical industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and CAPA implementation.
  • Data & Systems Proficiency: Comfortable with quality management systems (QMS), statistical analysis tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to manage customer complaints and ensure satisfaction through quality assurance.
  • Project Management: Capable of leading quality improvement projects and managing timelines and resources.
  • Education & Experience: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; significant experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing or specialty chemicals.

 

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: min 3 team members (QC Supervisor and two or more QC technicians)
