Who are we looking for?
This position is responsible for supporting the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of key financial data for Element Solutions’ various businesses and regions. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Global FP&A and offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial and regional FP&A teams as well as gain exposure to senior leadership.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for supporting global sales variable compensation program (VCP) by generating monthly activity reports in Salesforce, overseeing the quarterly calculation and payout process, and consolidating and analyzing results for senior leadership
- Manage the monthly reconciliation and reporting of capital expenditures globally, prepare project summary memos for all requests ≥ $250k, and work with commercial and FP&A teams to validate return on investment justifications
- Prepare monthly general & administrative operating expense memo with detailed variance to forecast and prior year explanations for senior management
- Work with regional and commercial FP&A counterparts as well as the AI team to identify opportunities to strengthen, streamline, and standardize reporting processes, forecasts, and analyses
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3-5 years of business analysis experience
- Knowledgeable in Oracle Essbase and HFM
- PowerBI experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing or chemical company preferred
