Who are we looking for?
Lead site facility management & maintenance function at the MAES R&D site, role involves leading and managing maintenance, security & housekeeping functions at MAES R&D site. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of R&D site.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the team of maintenance engineering technicians for management & upkeep of electrical/UPS, air conditioning, power generators, lab services such as fumehood exhaust, gases, scrubbers, chillers, compressors and building systems such as BMS, STP/PTP, water treatment, DI water plant, fire protection, plumbing systems
- Lead the team of security and housekeeping staff to ensure safety of employees & company assets, management of canteen services, visitor management and regular upkeep of facility including maintenance of landscaping/outdoor areas and pest control services
- Budgeting and Cost Control of Facility & Utility
- Coordinate establishment and maintenance of environment sustainability, statutory & regulatory compliance at the R&D site
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all facility systems
- Facility & utility vendor management
- Asset management: In coordination with finance team, put together a system for assigning new asset IDs & maintain asset register
- Lead and coordinate any modifications of lab & facility infrastructure
- Hiring of new resources in maintenance engineering, security and housekeeping team, ensure appropriate training and awareness
- Facility works order management, ensure EHS guidelines are followed by team, visitors & contractors

Who are You?
The position requires a BE/MTech degree, or its equivalent, in engineering (preferably Electrical) or in a closely related field, with preferably 5 - 10 years of work experience in an industrial research environment as Facility representative.
Preferably this position requires relevant certifications from Indian or global agencies such as Electrical engineering certifications (e.g., PE license), OSHA, Electrical safety certifications (e.g., NFPA 70E) etc
What competencies will you need?
- Proven skills in facility management, preferably as individual contributor for medium size organization or part of the facility management team at a bigger organization.
