Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Production Team Leader to support the day-to-day operations of our chemical manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products safely and efficiently.

You will be part of a skilled operations team responsible for running production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What will you be doing?

As Production Team Leader, you will be maintaining good standards of housekeeping in the production areas and promoting 5S culture.  You will also be covering for the Production Supervisor in their absence.  In addition you will identify and, in consultation with the Production Supervisor and/or department managers, initiate improvements in the manufacturing process in terms of quality, cost, yield and production throughput.

Who are You?

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment and understand production specifications.  In addition:

What competencies will you need?

  • Process Understanding: Basic knowledge of chemical production processes and equipment operation
  • Safety & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with chemical safety, PPE use, and regulatory requirements
  • Quality Focus: Understanding of quality control principles and the importance of product consistency
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately complete production records and follow written procedures

 

Working Pattern and hours

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday, 7.30 am to 4.15 pm, with half an hour lunch break, and Friday, 7.30 am to 12 noon; 37.5 hours per week.
