SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)

Job Purpose

As a Production Blender you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day blending, production and labelling of intermediate and finished goods in the Production Department in order to meet the required production levels and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and tend machines to mix/blend materials as per production specification, including the weighing/measuring of materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
  • Accurately complete paperwork detailing the ingredients used in each blend along with all additional instructions and sign offs.
  • Adhere to the production schedule as laid out by the Production Supervisor.
  • Identify and, in consultation with the Production Supervisor, Production Chemist or Production Manager, initiate improvements in the manufacturing process in terms of quality, cost, yield and production throughput.
  • Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping in the production areas.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and the requirements as laid down in the Health and Safety Policy.
  • Immediately report any accidents or injuries involving production personnel and ensure that appropriate first aid treatment is received.
  • Complete training on topics such as health and safety, occupational health, and other identified corporate training courses.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Blending role is desirable, although full training will be given.

Working Pattern

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.15 pm with a 30 minute lunch break, and Friday 7.30 am to 12 noon.
