Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a technically strong and customer‑focused Application Engineer who can bridge the gap between product technology and real‑world customer applications. You will bring hands‑on technical expertise, the ability to understand complex formulations or industrial processes, and a passion for helping customers achieve the best performance from our products.

What will you be doing?

As an Application Engineer, you will support customers and internal teams by providing technical guidance, application testing, and product optimisation across a broad portfolio of chemical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Technical Support & Problem‑Solving

  • Providing expert technical support to customers on product selection, formulation, and application performance
  • Troubleshooting issues in customer processes, formulations, or equipment
  • Conducting root‑cause analyses and recommending targeted solutions

Application Testing & Development

  • Performing laboratory evaluations, application trials, and performance testing
  • Developing and improving formulations, process conditions, or product usage guidelines
  • Preparing technical reports, test summaries, and recommendations

Customer Engagement

  • Conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops
  • Supporting field trials and on‑site customer testing
  • Translating customer needs into technical requirements for internal teams

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Working closely with R&D, quality, sales, and product management to support new product introductions and technical projects
  • Providing feedback on customer trends, performance needs, and market gaps

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and compliant with industry regulations
  • Supporting safety data, regulatory inquiries, and product stewardship activities

Travel

  • Occasional travel to customer sites, production facilities, and global technical centres as required

Who are You?

You are a hands‑on, curious, and analytical technical professional. You enjoy understanding how things work, solving complex problems, and engaging directly with customers. You’re comfortable in both the lab and the field and can communicate technical concepts in a practical, customer‑friendly way.
